QMediaPlayer streaming error

Hello all,

I am using QMediaPlayer to stream mp3 files from the internet on an Arch Linux system. I am able to play local files on my computer without any problems but when I try with a remote file I get this:

bq. (myappname:24222): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from 'WebKitWebSrc' to 'GstBaseSrc'
(myappname:24222): CRITICAL **: gst_base_src_is_live: assertion 'GST_IS_BASE_SRC (src)' failed

It appears that is something wrong with gstreamer or with GTK libraries but I don't see what.
Btw when I attempt to stream the same file with gstreamer from linux command line then it succeeds.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :-)
