Gdb failed to start
-
The gdb process failed to start. Either the invoked program "D:/Qt/Tools/mingw48_32/bin/gdb.exe" is missing, or you may have insufficient permissions to invoke the program.
Process failed to start: The directory name is invalid.I get the above msg box when trying to compile a Qt Widgets Application, has anyone ever got this message?
Why would I have insufficient permissions?
D:/Qt/Tools/mingw48_32/bin/gdb.exe does exist!
Another thing is that I had previously installed Qt in another directory (D:\Qt\Qt5.2.0), but I removed that installation before installing version 5.2.1 and I even deleted the directory manually after the uninstallation. However, Qt 5.2.1 shows in the 'Build & Run ->Debugger' that the old Qt's debugger (D:\Qt\Qt5.2.0\Tools\mingw48_32\bin\gdb.exe) still exist and puts it a @ the top of the list of debuggers.!https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=8f8db1a4f405473f#cid=8F8DB1A4F405473F&id=8F8DB1A4F405473F!214&v=3(The Picture for Qt GDB error)!
