Rotation of qml image about certain point

Hi all,
I am new to Qt and trying to rotate a qml image about certain axis... the image is basically a speed-meter knob (image size 60*110). I am continuously taking value from serial port (within cpp) and trying to rotate the knob (from a qml) at an angle;
@angle = getserialvalue() * 270/255;@
then I use qml object "setProperty" method from my cpp file to rotate the knob. But I need the image to be rotated about point (30,15). Simple rotation ends up in dislocation of knob from centre of the speed-meter...
Any kind of help would be appreciated
