Why does Wayland better then X11 for Qt 5.2 on Linux ?
-
The question is not related to the Qt 5.2.
It's simply that X11 will be superseded by Wayland, and Qt 5.2 already support it.Search Wayland on wikipedia or google if you are interested into the differences between X11 and Wayland.

So what are the benefits of Wayland over X11 ?

In short: X11 is old, broken, insecure and flawed in it's design (oh, and it was designed for a different purpose). Plus, it behaves badly for example during a kernel panic. Wayland is designed based on experiences of "what is wrong with X" and "how can we do it better".
