      Hi and welcome to devnet,

Without more information it's very difficult to help you. Start Qt Creator from the command line and post the exact error message

Try opening from the terminal and make sure to read the output. There may be some clash in the libraries. RHEL is known for shipping outdated standard libraries.

I usually run Qt Creator through the qtcreator.sh script, you can find it in <QtC installation dir>/bin. There are other binaries there, too, you can try them also.

am I not able to run qt because it is virtual machine.

Were there no errors reported on Terminal when you run the shell script?

I found it in add or remove packages .
qt API package was unchecked there.
I just selected it and it got installed.

but I'm not able to find " add or remove packages" settings in FEDORA 20 .
I didn't find any toolbar on fedora desktop like Rhel has one toolbar showing "applications " "system" and other items.
pls help me to locate this one.

Sorry, I am not familiar with Fedora.
