I have installed qt 5.2 .<br />
but when i click on the qt icon its not opening IDE .</p>

qt API package was unchecked there.<br />
I just selected it and it got installed.</p>
<p dir="auto">but I'm not able to find " add or remove packages" settings in FEDORA 20 .<br />
I didn't find any toolbar on fedora desktop like Rhel has one toolbar showing "applications " "system" and other items.<br />
pls help me to locate this one.</p>

still nothing happened.</p>
<p dir="auto">I installed rhel 6.0 server using VMware.<br />
.kernal 2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64.<br />
gnome 2.28.2.</p>
<p dir="auto">am I not able to run qt because it is virtual machine.<br />
and I'm also not able to open root folder .</p>

There are other binaries there, too, you can try them also.</p>

There may be some clash in the libraries. RHEL is known for shipping outdated standard libraries.</p>
