Target extension

Hallo friends,

How can I modify the TARGET extension? Eg. Project name is my_app and I want my_app executable and not my_app.exe.

Default extension in windows is .exe and all my projects output are exe files, despite I build for ARM.
This is not a big problem, but deployment always search without extension and thus, is not working.

Hi,

You can try with TARGET_EXT

Additionally, it might be a "bug", you should have a look at the "bug report system":http://bugreports.qt-project.org to see if it's something known

Thanks SGaist for so fast answer, I guess it's a small bug, I use Qt Creator 2.8.1 since 3.0 has some problems on my XP.

I already did that, but is working only if I give another extension:

TARGET = myapp
TARGET_EXT = ".123"

Now can be built, deployed and run excellent on my BBB.
But I don't succeed to suppress the extension :)
