    Hi,

I've been playing with OSX (Snow Leopard) experimental resolution independence features.
Seems QT acts rather funny with it:

    • fonts & most of the stuff seem to be bitmap scaled "afterwards", looks really ugly (iTunes does the same thing)
    • often something odd happens with coordinates, like scale factor is taken twice or something. This seems to vary by widget.

Easiest way to fool around with this is to start Quartz Debug and fiddle with UI Resolution slider,
otherwise AppleDisplayScaleFactor property can be set either for app or globally.

It would be nice to get this stuff working, Apple might start supporting it even as early as Lion..

Any comments how to quick fix this stuff on source code level?

    [EDIT: list formatting, Volker]
