Debugger for Qt 5.2.0 for Windows 32-bit built with VS 2010
jadiazlab last edited by
I downloaded and installed Qt 5.2.0 for Windows 32-bit (VS 2010) but this does not include any debugger. What debugger can I use ? How can I get it? Thank you.
I think the default on Windows is CDB, it should be included in your MSVC installation.
To add to sierdzio, did you install Visual Studio 2010 ?

It comes with Windows SDK. You may have to explicitly select the "debugging tools" in the installation process.
If everything is correct you could find cdb.exe in;
for 32 bits
bq. C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Debuggers\x86\cdb.exe
for 64 bits
bq. C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Debuggers\x64\cdb.exe
- After installing Debugger tools,
- Tools >> Options >> Build & Run >> Tool Chains
- "Clone" the auto-detected MSVC items
- specify the debugger path in the "Debugger" field
