Tslib does not work after migration from 5.1.1 to 5.2.0

  • Hello,

    I switched my embedded armv7 project running under Angstrom Linux from Qt 5.1.1 to Qt 5.2.0.
    There were no problems with compiling Qt 5.2.0 . I did use the same configuration options like I use for Qt 5.1.1

    -prefix /opt/Qt/5.2.0/armel/
    -xplatform linux-arm-gnueabi-g++
    -nomake examples
    -I /home/myHome/qt-5.2.0/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.2.0-arm/qtbase/mkspecs/linux-arm-gnueabi-g++/
    -qpa linuxfb @

    Only thing does not work now is that my touch screen isn't working anymore.

    The envrionment is prepared with some environment variables to start the program correctly for using tslib

    @export TSLIB_TSDEVICE=/dev/input/touchscreen0
    export TSLIB_FBDEVICE=/dev/fb0
    export TSLIB_PLUGINDIR=/usr/lib/ts
    export TSLIB_CONFFILE=/etc/ts.conf
    export TSLIB_CALIBFILE=/etc/pointercal
    export QWS_MOUSE_PROTO=tslib@

    I start the program by setting parameters like shown here

    @myapp -platform linuxfb -plugin tslib -f@

    When the program starts it's tells me also that it's using tslib. The ouput it's the same when using Qt 5.1.1. But unfortunataly no touchscreen imputs are processed by my application

    bq. QTsLibMouseHandler "tslib" ""

    Has anyone some idea what's going wrong or what kind kind of configuration or parameter is missing or how to track at which point the input processing is getting lost?

    If I switch the used program to the version compiled for 5.1.1 and use the libraries for 5.1.1 everything works fine. So the tslib is working and loaded. It must be somewere in the Qt 5.2.0

  • Hello my problems are solved by the solution posted by daneilg

    Seem that the changes came in from 5.1.1 to 5.2.0

    Thank you very much daneilg!
