Add custom button to menubar- Qt

Hi all,

How can we add a custom menu button in the bottom menubar(symbian call it control pane)?

I want to know how to get the reference to the current menubar and then add a custom button to it.

Please visit the below url to know exactly what i am looking for. I want to add a custom button
similar to the encircled ones and handle it.

you need to give more information in order to get help.

Which Qt version?
Which OS you are using? Android, Symbian, ...?
Are you using QtWidget or QML?

Hi,

I am using Qt version 4.7.3

I am using Symbian OS and I am NOT using QML

That should be a small task but just not getting the clue as to how to add button on that bottom bar. Symbian Belle has those kind of buttons on the bar.
