Cant run QtDesigner
I’ve downloaded Qt 4.8.5 and compiled it with Visual Studio2010 ×64 on win7 according to: http://www.holoborodko.com/pavel/2011/02/01/how-to-compile-qt-4-7-with-visual-studio-2010/
and I got the add-on too. but I cant run QtDesigner and I cant even open my .ui files!
could someone give me a hand on this??
thx for your help!!
Any errors? system messages? system events log? Have checked dependencies (run Dependency Walker with QtDesigner executable/binaries)?
Thanks for replying Bogdan,
There is no error for the code itself, I can compile & I've checked my dependencies. I included the Qt files on VC++ Directories: Include directories, Library Directories and Source Directories.
Did I forget something to do when compiling to win64??
I ran Dependency Walker with QtDesigner and I got these errors saying the system cannot find the file specified(2).
Try to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x64":http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
However, I'm little surprised that you don't have it after installing VS2010.
Moreover, this seems to be not new problem, see for example "here":http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17023419/win-7-64-bit-dll-problems
I already have the Redistributable Package x64 but the problem still persist even after re-install again!
Can you find mentioned dlls in your system? I have such binaries in Windows/System32 and Windows/SysWOW64 directories.
absolutely not, I don't have those files neither in Windows/System32 nor Windows/SysWOW64.
I have no idea what else you can do. "Some people say":http://stackoverflow.com/a/18202023 that installing Microsoft Windows 7 SDK might help, or system failed to install some updates (see updates' log for failed updates and try to install them manually).
