How to make all items in QListView the same size?

It seems the QListView icon mode calculates individual item sizes based on the items display role. It does not take the set TextElideMode into account and also does not workbreak the text.
I would like to have all items the same size 90x100 and the text under the icon max 2 lines height with wordwrap and elided. Is that even possible without resorting to a custom delegate?

Is "QListView's gridSize property":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qlistview.html#gridSize-prop what you want?
Otherwise return your size in sizeHint() method of a delegate reimplementation.
