I've used QCopChannel for IPC and implementation on the embedded linux platform was extremely straight forward. Is there a similar alternative in Qt5 since the move away from QWS? Beside sockets or d-bus.

      Hi,

I might be wrong but I don't think so unless QLocalSocket/QLocalServer can make a usable alternative. You should maybe ask this on the interest mailing list, you'll find Qt's developers/maintainers (this forum is more user oriented)
