I followed the instructions on: http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt5ForAndroidBuilding
to build qt5 for android development on my mac. When in Qt Creator 2.8.1 I build my project, everything works fine, but when I try to run it (I have an emulator64-arm running) I get:

Cannot create Android package: No ANDROID_TARGET_ARCH set in make spec.
Error while building/deploying project accelbubble (kit: Android for arm (GCC 4.8, Qt 5.2.0))
When executing step 'Packaging for Android'

I also tried to build and run the project in Qt Creator 2.8.2. The building goes fine, but the play button to run is grayed out (the hammer is not, however).

I tried setting ANDROID_TARGET_ARCH to armeabi in my build environment but this didn't help. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Should be included in Qt 3.0 but it doesn't seem that it is yet.
