[Solved] where is the creator after build

I try to find the *creator *after I build from 4.8.5 source on my Windows machine. I cannot find it but I do find the *designer *from the bin directory. *Designer *is only part of the creator. Am I right?

What did you download and compile?
Did you actually download the source of creator from "here?":http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/qtcreator/2.8/2.8.1/qt-creator-2.8.1-src.zip
If you simply downloaded Qt open source and compiled this, qt creator is not part of this. It comes separately.

No, Designer is an independent tool that was already part of Qt way before Qt Creator even existed.

Qt Creator is not part of Qt's sources, you can either download it from this site or build it yourself.
