Ubuntu PPA for Qt 5.1.1 available?

[jamadagni]

Hello.

I am using Kubuntu Saucy and while it comes with Qt 5.0.2 (http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=qtbase5&searchon=names&suite=all&section=all) I would like to know whether there is any community built PPA for the latest 5.1.1 available from http://qt-project.org/downloads

I checked https://launchpad.net/~canonical-qt5-edgers/+archive/qt5-daily but that is outdated also.

Thank you!

Qt 5.1.1 is available in Debian (testing/unstable). You could try picking it up from the Debian servers.

Thanks for your reply. It's too bad there aren't any official DEBs. I see that Qt 5.2 beta is also available now -- http://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/5.2/5.2.0-beta1/ so I'll look at the options again...

Well the Debian debs are official... ;) (Ubuntu is a Debian derivative)

Another option is to grab the source in the git repository and make your own build.
