I am writing an applications capable of sending and receiving data from the modem.
1.) Is "qwtapi" is good to go ? Or is it still in development phase ?
2.) Does anybody knows TAPI32's alternative in QT?

You should rather ask the qwtapi-tt developers about the state of the library. You'll probably have more chance in getting an answer about it
