[SOLVED!] Screen transition
-
Hi guys,
I am new to Qt and I know the very basic of it, so I just need a reference to the topic that I need.
I am developing an user interface to input some user data, and for each kind of group of information provided, a new screen with new fields should apear and ask for more info after the "next" button is clicked. I want to know how to do that screen transition in Qt, without creating a pop ups.Does anyone have any idea of how can I do that? Can anyone please, give me the references that I need?
Thanks in advance,

QTabWidget is a basic way to have a 'configuration' screen with multiple views (if you want the user to be able to select the view at their leisure). If you are using the QtCreator, open up he tools menu by clicking Tools->Options. You can see some QTabWidget in sub menus.
You could also use a QStackedWidget. All of your QWidgets will be stacked on one another, so you can bring forward the widget you would like the user to see without any of the ugly show/hide code for all of your other views.
There is a great example of how to subclass / animate a QStackedWidget for transitioning:

Hi
You could also use the QWizard class

Hi guys!
Thank you very much for your support!
.
And what about this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw2fsy--nGM
Does anyone know about it? Could I use for what I want?
Thanks again,

If QWizard then "Classwizard":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/dialogs-classwizard.html is a good example.

Actually, I don't want to create a wizard... I need to do some smooth transiton between screens. As in any usual application.
