[SOLVED] Debugging with Qt Creator 2.8.1 + Qt 5.1.1 on Windows XP 64-bit

  • Hi,

I am trying to debug my project using Qt Creator 2.8.1 + Qt 5.1.1 on Windows XP 64-bit, but it just hangs. The debugger log gives me:

Would anyone have any idea as what is going wrong here?

FWIW, I have no problem debugging using the same versions of Qt Creator and Qt on Windows 7.

    Cheers, Alan.

  • So, no one?...

  • For those interested, it is possible to debug under Windows XP using the 32-bit debugging tools (assuming your application is not in 64-bit!). See "":
