    Hello all,

I want to import a Tiff Image into a QImage and want to read the resolution of the Image. But currently I always get a resolution of 96dpi although the image has a resolution of 300dpi. The windows explorer and also ImageJ return the correct value. For JPG images it is working.

Is this a general problem with Tiff images and QT?

I am using currently QT 5.1 compiled with mingw64.

    Thank you for your support!

    Best regards

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

Did you check the "bug report system":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/issues/ to see if it's known issue ?

You could also check on the interest mailing list (you'll find Qt's developers/maintainers there, this forum is more user oriented)
