What is the "qt_debug_new.h" it good for? And why can't I use the boost string.hpp library when "qt_debug_new.h" is included?

it was part of the include-section of the program that I am extending.

Is this a custom include file from that project ?

This file doesn't follow the Qt naming pattern so I would guess it's not part of Qt
