Qt-everywhere UNZIPPING hangs

When unzipping the qt-everywhere files using WinRAR it seems to slow down to a near halt when unzipping the "regress-xxxxx" files, not sure exactly where to ask, and I know this question is slightly vague but is there any reason for which this should be happening ?

I don't think so.
Did you download the zip file or the tar.gz ? If the later, then you should get the former. The tar.gz is for unix environment. Otherwise, I would recommend using 7zip, it's pretty fast and I never had a problem with Qt's sources with it.
