Embedding QWidgets into a web page
Will we able to embed QWidgets into a web pages? Yes, I can write an NP API plug-ins, but
Will adapter for Qt property system to NP API be available out of the box?
If I have a QWebElement referring to the embedded object node, is there a way to somehow cast it to QObject/QWidget?
I successfully used the information from the Qt Quarterly article "Plugging into the Web":http://doc.trolltech.com/qq/qq26-webplugin.html to embed QPushButtons in a webpage that is displayed with QWebView.
The embedded widget is just a normal widget and you can do with it whatever you can do with a QWidget =)
Thank you for the hint.
Another way to embed arbitrary QWidgets into web content (although this is Qt Webkit, not Qt Web Runtime) is reimplementing "QWebPage::createPlugin":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7-snapshot/qwebpage.html#createPlugin to turn certain object elements into arbitrary QWidgets when the web page is loaded.
