Set the camera resolution using QCamera

Hi,
How can the resolution of a QCamera be changed? I can see that it is easy to alter exposure, focus and image processing parameters, but there appears to be no obvious way of setting the resolution.
QCameraViewfinderSettingsControl exists, but looking at the DirectShow implementation for Windows, the DSCameraService implementation of QMediaService does not provide this control. From looking at the Qt sources, this control only seems to be implemented for BlackBerry.
Also, I can't see a simple and platform agnostic way of finding out the supported resolutions. DSCameraSession provides supportedResolutions, but this appears to be a private class (and is obviously platform specific anyway).
