I have installed Qt Creator 2.8.0, and copied my previous settings from Qt Creator 2.5.2

I have checked compiler settings, Qt versions (both look ok), and also found a "Default" kit for my local desktop (Device type: Desktop, Device: Local PC, VC 2010 and CDB).

Still, when I attempt to set up a project, I get the notice "no valid kits found".

I then tried to manually create a second kit with the same settings, but I still get the "no valid kits found".

    Ideas?

Ok, I just missed that the kit setup had a scrollbar, and the Qt version was missing.
