    Hi,

Digia is organizing a webinar for Android develoment tomorrow. I was unable to find a topic about it at the forum and I created the topic since I think it is something worth visiting. For more details and registration please visit the "event page":http://qt.digia.com/About-us/Events/WEBINAR-Qt-for-Android-Development-Europe1/. The webinar is free. It should start at 10 am CEST and the estimated duration is 45 minutes + Q & A.

I attended the same basic event for the Americas (http://qt.digia.com/About-us/Events/WEBINAR-Qt-for-Android-Development-Americas/)

Basically they went over what it takes to install and configure a development environment for building android apps with Qt5.1 for a consumer Android device (it did not cover Android in the embedded space--"Boot to Qt"). It was more in depth and more up to date than other docs I've seen on the subject.

Unfortunately I didn't take notes because I thought they would make the video available soon after (During the Webinar they said they would make the Webinar available as an online video). AFAIK, that video hasn't materialized anywhere for online viewing.

Sorry for this question, is now Qt 5.1 available for Android devices? I have a Qt application in my mobile but, I see the application uses still Necessitas with Qt 4.6 (i think).

              Need programmers to hire?

Yes, Qt 5.1 is available for Android. You can download the "Qt 5.1 for Android from here":http://qt-project.org/downloads. For details please check the links to the video and the presentation from the webinar.
