QT5.0.2 connection with Oracle10g express edition

  • Hi,

    I have oracle10g installed on my windows7 64 bit and also QT5.0.2.

I would like to establish oracle10g database connectivity with QT5.0.2 .I would like to build OCI plugin for windows.

I'm not able to understand where i have to provide below code and run it from help documentation

    @set INCLUDE=%INCLUDE%;c:\oracle\oci\include
    set LIB=%LIB%;c:\oracle\oci\lib\msvc
    cd %QTDIR%\src\plugins\sqldrivers\oci
    qmake oci.pro
    make@

below are my oracle and QT installation directories.

    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN
    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\OCI
    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\OCI\lib\MSVC
    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\OCI\include

    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\sqlplus
    C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\xdk

    QT5.0.2 directories

    C:\Qt\Qt5.0.2\Tools\QtCreator\bin\sqldrivers
    C:\Qt\Qt5.0.2\Tools\MinGW\bin
    C:\Qt\Qt5.0.2\Tools\MinGW\lib

    C:\Qt\Qt5.0.2\5.0.2\mingw47_32\plugins\sqldrivers
    C:\Qt\Qt5.0.2\5.0.2\mingw47_32\bin

    Hi,

Please allow at least a day before bumping your own thread. People on this forum don't necessarily live in the same timezone as you nor have the knowledge to help you.

As for your question: these instructions must be written in a command prompt (ideally a Qt configured command prompt). If you don't have access to a Qt configure command prompt, replace %QDIR% by the full path to your Qt installation.
