    Hi,

I am having trouble to debug my application with Qt Creator, I wanna run the application with gksu, kdesu or even sudo (%sudo ALL = NOPASSWD: /path/to/app). I don't know how to configure the run command to acomplish that, and I don't wanna run Qt Creator with sudo because it broke my normal user configuration.

I am having trouble to debug an application that opens serial port.

    What can I do?

    Thanks!

I would set up a remote linux device (host: localhost, user: root) and then use that in kit (clone the desktop one, replace the device type and device).

Creator will then deploy to and run on the "remote" machine.
