Is it possible to create a custom look and feel using QStyleSheets when some of the compoents are still using Q3GridView?

I may be wrong but i think stylesheet support came with Qt4. So Q3GridView is not styleable.

Why do you use Q3GridView at all instead of QTableView (which is styleable)?
