Qt 5.0.1 QWebView. Problem with showing JPGs
-
I have QtWebKit application on Windows. Everything works properly, but the kitchen sink... I have no idea why it doesn't show JPGs. I have /imageformats directory with plugins in the root directory. It works okay on my dev. machine, but on clean XP and 7 it works without JPGs. I also have vcredist on every machine of course. What's wrong with that?

Try dependency walker to check which libraries are missing on the clean system... have you compiled Qt by yourself? if Qt compiled with -system-libjpeg maybe it is missed on clean system...

Hi,
Is your imageformats folder in the plugins subdirectory ?
Have a look at the "deployment doc":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.0/qtdoc/deployment-windows.html It will give you some more ideas
EDIT:corrected link

Dependency walker doesn't show anything missing. I use precompiled version of Qt. Does it mean that it use .dll from plugins or from somewhere in system? It doesn't seem to be some kind of this stuff in my system exept ones I have in plugins/imageformats

No, I have it not in subdirectory. It is in root directory as in tutorial.

Then follow the deployment guide lines to ensure you have everything in place
