Error setting up QTCreator running on Ubuntu on VMware Player in XP for Beaglebone
-
I've searched and read numerous posts that might help with the problem I'm having for the last week but none seem to address my issue.
I'm trying to set up QTCreator in a Ubuntu virtual machine running in VMware Player on a Windows XP box. I've followed the instructions by Derek Molloy found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP7uvOu9hoQ&list=PLF4A1A7E09E5E260A and I think I'm very close to having it working. BUT not quite!
I've updated the Beaglebone as instructed in the video.
I've downloaded the Angstrom tool chain and tested as instructed in the video and that works.
I've downloaded the first program and it runs on the Beaglebone.I've downloaded QTCreator 2.6.2 and installed that and tried setting up the kit to suit the Beaglebone.
My first problem is the Warning symbol in the BeagleBone Kit that I've set up.

In a terminal window I have (in the project folder) run qmake and make. It compiles and builds OK and I can manually download it to the Beaglebone and it runs perfectly.

All help gratefully accepted.
