    Hi,

I started surfing this he developer network, which looks beautiful.
But a little confused, What's the diffferent styles between this area and Qt center/Forum Nokia? When should I go here ? and When should I go Forum nokia/Qt center? Any recommendation?

As far as I know, Forum nokia is manily for Nokia mobile development (Qt on Symbian/Meego), and still many topics of Qt. Qt center also very famous and huge topics.

You will need to wait for an official answer but, as I understand, this is the web site that will have anything about Qt. I also found confusing that forum nokia has threads about qt development but I think in time they will all move here. Meego.com, because is not Nokia-only and neither qt-only it will probably always have some overlap with this one here.

I don't know about qt center. Is it a Nokia web site? I have the feeling that it is an "unofficial" community web site. If it is a nokia web site I would assume it will disappear. If not I would guess they will be somehow "competitors".

I had a suggestion about this particular problem. Centralizing Nokia forums and wikis :)

As per Qt Centre it is an independent website: http://www.qtcentre.org/content/

I knew Qt Centre it is an independent website run by another company. Just a little confused, why nokia made the decision of not investing more on qtcenter , but start this new offical areas.

Since its a separate company, it made sense to start its own developer community and forums. And Forum Nokia is more focused on Mobile Application development where as QDN is more focused on Qt on all platforms.

First, we are in close contact with Qt Centre and the team running the site and we have been cooperating for years and intend to do so in the future.

The reason behind us building the site was the realization that we had loads of content that needed a proper home. We had it spread out all over the place to a degree that we lost overview. How should anybody external possibly find it then? Simply dumping it on Qt Centre was not an option.

Exactly. I would go even further: ForumNokia deals with Qt development for Nokia devices. Qt is running on all sorts of embedded devices in addition to a strong presence on the desktop. Obviously, there is some overlap but I believe in the end, it's fairly small.

If you are developing for the mobile application then you can go for forum.nokia.com

If you are developing for the desktop application then developer.qt.nokia.com

But here, I find the different categories even if you are developing for any platform then here is the "Forum":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums

This website is for the Qt development framework.

I think everything was clear in Alexandra's post.
