QTreeView Processing Strings to get QFileSystemModel-like Style ?
-
I have a list of strings that are almost like file paths ("some/folder/path/file.ext") and I need to process them so that it basically ends up behaving like it does for a QFileSystemModel. I'm not sure if I can use an exist model or would I have to create my own ?

I don't think that QTreeView will do it itself. However, you can create a tree QStandardItemModel "(example making a tree)":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/qstandarditemmodel.html#details and pass that to a QTreeView.
You would need to parse the strings yourself.
