I feel like this is a fairly broad question - to give you a broad answer, you will need to firstly connect to the database and then query the database to fetch the desired data.
I believe you posted a few days ago about building/configuring the QMYSQL DB plugin driver, correct? Thus, I assume you will be "printing" data from a MySQL database or some other form of SQL database.
Within the source files "..\Qt5.0.1\5.0.1\Src\qtbase\examples\sql" there are several SQL examples provided.
I do not really know how to answer your question further, maybe you could explain where you are stuck?

There are several report engines:

"NCReport":http://ncreport.sourceforge.net/
