Not that is big problem or a very common scenario but, at the same time, I am not sure I see the point if the groups have to be approved anyway.

I think is a limit for not prolifering new forum. The group is new and haven't a list of 1000 request they have set this limit. Maybe in the future change.

In the future will be probably less important because we will have a good set of groups and not many missing.

Now that we are starting the process it would the initial "setup" if we could suggest more than one group.

The groups have to be manually approved (I assume) so I don't see why it helps at all...

To us creating and running a group is a sizable commitment, we simply want to pace ourselves and make it right. Only one pending group creation request per user is in to help with that. One step at a time.

Especially now that it's new to everyone it's good to require experience with one before requesting another. Might be naive, but I think it will lead to less orphaned groups down the road.

Marius, only one pending group creation request per user .. or do you mean that one can be the founder of only one group at present?

Chetan, after the first one is approved (or rejected I guess), you can request another one. I tried it - it works :-)

Your're welcome. And to add an end to the story: the second group was approved too :-)
