Is there a Gimp or Photoshop template for the groups logo available? We are currently talking about a good logo for the German group (basically replacing the Troll's green with the flags of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as these are the main countries speaking German) and it would help a lot if we had a good template to start with, instead of cutting down the logo into it's pieces and rearrange them afterwards. I guess, it only would look ugly.

I'll have to be a bit corporate now; The Qt logo is part of the Qt brand by Nokia and you shouldn't use it as a basis for morphing it into something else.

Sorry, but take it as a good challenge to your creativity :)

I know only about official png: http://qt.nokia.com/about/logos-for-download
        But I think it's enough.

Good objection. Maybe this should be stated in the groups settings (for the group owners). I bet I was not the only one wanting to morph the official Qt logo :-)

mariusg Oh, then the question: Is "this logo":http://i55.tinypic.com/148q92r.png not good, for corporate politics?
If not, I will change it.

It's borderline due to a "clearance zone" that should be around the logo, but the logo is allowed to be on top of "campaign images". So let's say it's acceptable for now but I'll have to reserve final judgement for later. There is also a minimal size requirement for the logo, but I only have the specs for print (as opposed to online). So leave it as it is for now, ok with you?

AFAIK the tux does not have rules like this, in fact they encourage it[1]. :)

is there any news regarding the QtLogo on group images?
