Any idea when new QML styling will be available?

Anyone got a heads up on the time scales for the new QML styling which is in the pipeline?

What are your requirements? Common controls with some styling support is scheduled for 5.1. But I have no idea if the styling planned would match your requirements. CSS is not going to be supported for instance.

To make a QML application themeable right now, you generally have to collect all your image sources in a central QML file and expose that to third parties so they can swap them out. This is already doable.
