[Suggestion] Wiki article working in progress

Hi, when i write a wiki or modify something, i have the terrible fear that some use editing my current wiki.
Now i post an update with a name 'start editing' and 'stop eding' but maybe some information on the wiki article is useful, such as
'this article is edting from one user keep attenction'...
Maybe with a timeout if the user escape from editing without use 'finish editing funtion' from a wiki.
What do you think?

I think is good idea. Or wiki need merging system (as in VCS)

Doesn't the wiki lock a page (for like, 15 minutes) when you start editing it? Or, has it a proper merging system?

No, now he haven't a lock system.
