Virtual Keyboard on Desktop app
-
Hi,
I'm developing a Desktop application on Ubuntu, I need a virtual keyboard when I press over a InputText, but it doesn't works. This is my code:
@ TextInput {
id: input
color: "#151515"; selectionColor: "green"
font.pixelSize: 16; font.bold: true
width: parent.width-16
anchors.centerIn: parent
activeFocusOnPress: false
selectByMouse: trueMouseArea { anchors.fill: parent onClicked: { input.forceActiveFocus(); input.openSoftwareInputPanel(); } }
}
@is it posible to have a virtual keyboard in Desktop applications?
Regards

Why do you need Virtual Keyboard on desktop app? Is your desktop without keyboard? Virtual Keyboards are OS part not Qt Quick. If you really need VKB on desktop you can create one using QML.
Still I think you do something really wrong (or exotic) if you need VKB on desktop.

I'm developing an application style ATM. I've seen that for this I need a hybrid implemetation of QML and C++, like this tutorial:

thanks for reply
