Will the VS 2010 version of the Qt 5.0 libraries work with vs11 and vs11 compiler? In order to get proper c++11 support in vs we need to be able to use vs11.

Why not release a version compiled with vs11 compiler anyway?

Try and see. MS is not known for keeping binary compatibility, so there might be problems. You can compile Qt from source code yourself, too.

As to "why not" - because Qt is rigorously tested before it's released, and there were some problems with MSVC 2012. I think they are mostly fixed now, though.

There is no proper C++11 support in MSVC2012 either. You might want to take a look at the "VC++ CTP":http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35515.
