I've come across this "wiki article on cross-compiling Qt5 for the Raspberry Pi":http://qt-project.org/wiki/RaspberryPi_Beginners_guide

However, it's dated Nov 14, and one step occurred to me as odd when considering Qt 5 is live now:
"Finally, apply a patch on the qtjsbackend repository"

    Is this step still necessary?

      Hi,

That page has been edited again. See if it has become more useful for you.

(I haven't works with the RPi, so I can't answer your question, sorry)

I've compiled Qt5 for the RPi just a few weeks ago. Works out of the box. One 'special' thing I've been doing though is disabling the use of precompiled headers (-no-pch) when I configure Qt. https://codereview.qt-project.org/#change,33006 broke it a few months back and I'm not sure if anyone has fixed it since.

Took a lot at the changes. Not relevant to my question, but I guess I'll just give it a try.

          Thanks!

There is a more recent script. I added a link to the gitorious page, where you can get it.

The patch is not needed anymore it seems.
