Qt5 and vs10 Nu-B question
-
It is not that I don't know Qt 5, or that I don't know vs10, it is that I don't know either of them.
I am learning the use of vs10 while at the same time I would like to learn qt5. I am able to compile small std programs using vs10, now I would like to learn how to program using qt5, but I don't know how to add the qt5 library to vs10, I am hoping that one of you will help me. At the same time, seriously, any help using this two programs will be most appreciated -
I and other members of the community may need more information.
Under what platform you create an application? What compiler are you using? And what are the requirements of your application? -
Another question. What IDE do you use? What is your main system build projects?

I am using, Window 7-64 and Visula Studio 10 Express 32-bit with Qt-5.0

To work with Qt 5 in Visual Studio you can install an "Visual Studio Add-in 1.2.0 for Qt5":http://releases.qt-project.org/vsaddin/qt-vs-addin-1.2.0-opensource.exe , but it does not work with the Express edition.
"Library Qt 5 installer for Windows":http://releases.qt-project.org/qt5/5.0.0/qt-windows-opensource-5.0.0-msvc2010_32-x86-offline.exe includes IDE Qt Creator. This is a cross-platform development environment designed specifically for developing applications using Qt.
Qt Creator can use the compiler on your version of Visual Studio.
I advise you to install "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1":http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23691 . -
I installed Qt5 (D:\QT), but when I use Creator it fails to locate the library, is it something I have to do by hand or is it something that the installer should do?

In creator, go to tools->options->Build & run. Make sure that under the kits and Qt Versions tabs have the correct qt sdk you are using. It should auto detect for you.
