So I have just thought of a feature which would be extremely helpful for me to be a more active contributor here: a "watch for keyword" list, which would look for new posts with a given keyword and send an e-mail when it occurs.

In particular, I figure that I will probably be very helpful on qmake questions, although I haven't thought of a good way to not have it flag every single post on which someone includes their qmake command line... :)

Receiving alerts on a specific keyword is good idea. But will that be much useful in a specific forum like for Qt - I am not sure.

May be we can add an option to subscribe to particular forum section like Game or Mobile and Embedded.

Very good idea! You should file a suggestion reqest on the "bug tracker":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com - I'll vote for it :-)

I'd like to see something similar, but with RSS feeds. Craigslist has the ability output custom searches as RSS. I've found it handy when searching for particular items.

Subscribe to a forum would be great. I would like the option to have the rss feed or the "email" option. We can deal with the "word" filtering on the client side (as long as the body of the message or title includes the title of the post :) )

Supposedly our Tag engine can do this already (!), let me look into it. :)

Isn't this for the thread (topic) not for the forum (e.g. qt mobility, beta testing, ...)?

It's for the forum, "try it out":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/feeds/forum/5.

I see... Can I then suggest that it would make it more obvious if you break the line before "go to last post" ?

Both links are on the line that says "last post:" and I assumed that was somehow related to it and not to the forum.

Would also be helpful to have the same link on the actual forum page (just under the title?) where you list the threas on the forum.
