[QT5 beta 2]Installing it on ubuntu 12.04 running with kvm as a virtual machine
-
Hello,
I wanted to try Qt5 beta 2. So I created a new virtual machine running unduer ubuntu 12.04. I am using KVM. I installed Qt. Then when I tried to launch QtCreator (or other qt programs) I got that kind of error:
@cedric@cedric-virtual-machine:~/Qt5.0.0beta2/5.0.0-beta2/gcc/bin$ ./assistant
QWidget::paintEngine: Should no longer be called
QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 1

cedric@cedric-virtual-machine:~/Qt5.0.0beta2/5.0.0-beta2/gcc/bin$@I tried a
qmake --version
And this works.
So I think there is an issue with QPainter. Maybe a dependence is missing? I installed opengl for instance (package freeglut) but it didn't fixed the issue.With Ubuntu 11.10 I got the same issue. However under a virtual machine on windows 7 it seems to work.
Any idea of how I could solve thie issue?
Thank you,
Sincerly
