On the "posts since your last visit" when you click on the "thread" you go to the first page for the thread. You can also click on "last reply".

The best for me would be to jump to the first post on the thread since my last visit. In other words, I would like to start reading from where I stopped last time. This is the behavior on talk.maemo.org (sorry if you are tired of hearing me compare this forum to the maemo one but the maemo is really good or I am very addicted to how it works).

p.s. I will also create a suggestion on the bug reports but it still not clear to me if I should only create there. It seems that here is a better place for people to comment on suggestions that may help the trolls make decisions.

The behaviour you describe here makes sense. It feels like cookie-settings to me and we will have to look into it. Thanks for the bug report.

Well. Yes, we'd like you to file wish-list bugs in JIRA. OTOH, I really like to be able to have a discussion about suggestions in the forum. So far I have always suggested to discuss things first and see what other users think. If no one agrees - or someone has a better idea - it doesn't make sense to file the bug.

        Does that sound sensible?

Yes.... I have tried to do just that.... I first create a suggestion thread here and once only create "bug report" once I hear from other people...
