Version Control panel steals keyboard focus

Hi

I use perforce, and every time I start editing a file, it needs to be checked out and made writable. So the Version Control panel comes up show log messages (good) but it also steals the keyboard focus (BAD!). I type a character, then all the rest goes to the version control panel until I explicitly return the focus to the text editor... drives me mad!

Is there any way to turn that off? Should it be reported as bug?

I assume you are talking about Qt Creator here? Yes, please file a bug report. Patches are of course also welcome:-)

yes, it is Creator. I'll file the bug, that familiar enough with the code to submit a patch ;-)
