[Moved] This week we have 2 new mad scientists! Congrats to Tobias and Denis

Never thought about answering from phone. As chetankjain said for most questions dev env is needed (at least good text editor for quick code examples), sometimes qtcreator is used.

chetankjain: Hopefully I am not going to prove your first point by agreeing with the second.
I sure would like to win a phone but don't have any hope of doing so... My comment about how much time they have to devote to posting was intended as a complement not just because of the number of posts but also because of their variety. Of course with such higher numbers a percentage will end up being "less" technical and more "community/opinion/chat" oriented but I think they are as valid!

the good admins/managers of devnet continuously keep coming up with such competitions/awards, you will have your chance. did you miss out on the babel project? see here: "http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2010/10/22/call-for-babel-fishes/":http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2010/10/22/call-for-babel-fishes/ -

and most of the times, I'm trying out a solution and there is always someone faster who posts the correct answer or points in the right way :) and i miss getting points there :(

tamhanna, forum is oriented for help, not for learning.
chetankjain, hehe, it's all about me too :)

chetankjain: Unfortunately too late! I can't remember the last time I wrote anything in Portuguese about software development but it would have been The Opportunity. [/quote]just follow the devnet blogs and especially when our chief editor and admin supreme, Alexandra posts something, usually there will be something free coming right after :P ...

If stuck I would rather prefer a better developer to help me solve the problem in my code than anybody else, there are the grand architects who create and define it all, and they are great developers too! This is a developer network ! yes ? -
tamhanna, this quote is not going here. As I said main reason why people ask questions at forums is that they need help in this question, not learning. Most of them were googled a lot, read other forums and asked because they need help.

lol
learn flying from a pilot, not the man who just read a book on flying :)we know these things, we don't spoon feed everything, we provide pointers and maybe small code snips that really show the way. we don't do Qt projects for college kids or their homework if thats what you mean

Congratulations Tobias and Denis
