Help in choosing the tools

Hi,
Could anyone help me in choosing tools available in open source. I want to create a web based application which comprises of an user interface -> web server -> Database. So far I was planning to use Perl+Php -> Apache web server -> MySql but would like know if there are any alternatives in Qt. I need to explore QtWebKit though but I thought I would ask anyway if some of you might be already using these tools if available.

It seems from your description that Qt is not what you are after. Qt is about creating native applications, not dynamic web pages (with the exception of Qt NaCl port, and various JavaScript ports - AFAIK none of them is complete).
