Plugin not working in integrated designer.

Hello! I am working with Qt 4.8.1, Qt Creator 2.5.2, MSVC 2010, win32. I built a custom widget designer plugin. When the designer integrated into creator tries to load the plugin, it fails with the message "The specified procedure could not be found." The designer that installed with the libs loads the exact same plugin no problem. The integrated designer loads an empty test plugin that I built with the exact same compiler/libs/config so it is not a library or compiler incompatibility.
Any thoughts?
